Aaron Cole
Biography
21 year-old Aaron Cole started rapping when he was just three years old. Since then, he’s garnered the coveted Dove Award for New Artist of the Year, held back-to-back #1 singles on the Billboard Christian HOT AC/CHR chart and has had multiple sync uses including promos for ESPN and Fox Sports. His songs have also been featured in the Netflix original series, “On My Block” among other prominent sync placements.
Named “One of 5 Top Gospel Artists to Watch” by Essence Magazine, Cole’s musical journey included releasing six independent projects prior to his signing with Gotee Records. The Bristol, VA, native was then introduced to multi-GRAMMY-award-winning producer and artist TobyMac, who has been working with him ever since.
“Aaron Cole is where it’s going, He’s a natural,” TobyMac said. “He wakes up and breathes songs that are culturally relevant, but ever aware of the spiritual. He just gets it. He has a deep love for God and a love for people that organically works its way into the lyric. The Lord has blessed him with a deep well of talent, yet he grinds like he’s ungifted. That’s a rare combination that I will lock arms with anytime, anywhere.”

Show Description
Ten-time GRAMMY® nominee Tauren Wells announced his Spring 2023 headlining “Joy In The Morning Tour,” in support of his recent album by the same name. Kicking off the 19-city tour on January 26th, 2023, the national run will hit Cincinnati with a performance at Taft Theatre on March 5. Special guests Aaron Cole and Lakewood Music will support on all dates.
This outing continues Well’s third headline tour which started in Fall 2022 and follows last year’s sold-out, 23-city run. Most recently, Wells delivered the national anthem at the Detroit Lions’ 83rd annual Thanksgiving Day Classic game against the Buffalo Bills. He also welcomed the holiday season with the release of his single “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays,” a reimagination of the much-loved *NSYNC classic. Last month, Wells teamed up with chart-topping country artist Jimmie Allen and GRAMMY®-winning R&B/gospel artist Erica Campbell to record infectious new versions of his track “Up.” The duets underscore Wells’ genre fluid approach to music and the universal nature of the anthemic song’s message, which finds hope in hard times. He also released a live version of the song recorded at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
Joy In The Morning is Wells’ third solo album and first for Capitol Records/CCMG. He celebrated its release with an appearance at the GRAMMY Museum L.A. Live. Visits to “Fox & Friends” and “Good Morning America” followed. Earlier this month, Wells returned to “Good Morning America” to perform “Up.” View HERE. He recently spoke with Billboard about the making of the album in this feature. Flaunt Magazine observed, “Wells’ optimism for a better tomorrow demonstrates that music is a common language – an overwhelming sensation of love and infinity in the palm of your hands.”
