New Orleans powerhouse Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue will hit the road this summer with a major run of 2026 tour dates. The band announced an extensive run of 2026 summer tour dates, featuring a mix of highly anticipated festival appearances and the "Let's Go Get 'Em Tour" featuring a stop at Taft Theatre on June 23.

Renowned for live performances that are nothing short of a transportive spiritual experience, Trombone Shorty (born Troy Andrews) and his band deliver an explosive power on stage that leaves audiences breathless. Blending rock, funk, soul, jazz, blues, hip-hop, and Caribbean influences into a raucous, high-energy sound, Shorty has built a reputation as one of the most dynamic and ecstatic live performers working today. His concerts are an all-out Crescent City celebration—whether he is closing out the hallowed final set at the New Orleans Jazz Fest, playing to a packed house at Madison Square Garden, or captivating millions at the Super Bowl, Shorty commands the stage with a magnetic charisma and joyful resilience that turns every venue into a vibrant New Orleans party.

About trombone shorty

Born Troy Andrews, Trombone Shorty is the premier ambassador of New Orleans music, carrying the torch for Crescent City culture while propelling it into the 21st century. Getting his start earlier than most—performing at Jazz Fest with Bo Diddley at age four and leading his own brass band at six—Shorty has evolved into an undeniable star and explosive live performer. Today, he is a Grammy-winning artist who has played the 2025 Super Bowl, performed at the White House and Madison Square Garden, rocked major festivals like Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Lollapalooza, and collaborated with icons from Pharrell and Bruno Mars to Lenny Kravitz and the Foo Fighters. Deeply rooted in his community, he leads the Trombone Shorty Foundation, authors Caldecott Honor-winning children's books, and holds the hallowed final set at the New Orleans Jazz Fest. With acclaimed releases like his 2022 album Lifted and his 2025 Grammy-nominated collaboration Second Line Sunday, Shorty continues to bring his intoxicating blend of rock, funk, soul, and jazz to the world. https://www.tromboneshorty.com
