Mat Kearney brings the Hanging By A Heartstring Tour to Taft Theatre on Saturday, May 1, 2027.
ABOUT MAT KEARNEY
Across eight studio albums, Mat Kearney has built a career defined by honest songwriting, genre-blurring production, and an unmistakable voice. The multi-Platinum songwriter and producer has topped multiple Billboard charts, landed four songs on the Hot 100, and amassed more than 2.6 billion global streams.
His latest album, Hanging by a Heartstring (October 9, 2026), marks a new chapter for Kearney. Part love letter to Nashville and part reflection on the road behind him, the record explores enduring love, family, self-reflection, and the balance between chasing a dream and holding on to what matters most.
Kearney has performed on TODAY, Ellen, The Tonight Show, Letterman, and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, with praise from USA Today, Entertainment Weekly, People, Billboard, PARADE, and Marie Claire. A seasoned touring artist, he has shared the road with John Mayer, Lady A, Train, NEEDTOBREATHE, Judah & the Lion, Mutemath, and Owl City, while building an extensive headline touring career of his own.
